Anne-Marie paid a visit to the relatively new Morrisons in Amble this week to catch up with staff and customers.
Speaking of the visit she said:
"It was great to pay a visit to Morrisons in Amble this week where I met Store Manager Kevin and Operations Manager Mark to talk about how they are getting on, and if there were any issues I should know about.
"Despite the store only having been open for 18 months, they have already reached their 5 years target which is great news, and I know how pleased residents are to have such a great store, stocking wonderful local produce.
"Mark and Kevin assured me their petrol supplies are all ok and they have not experienced shortages, which is great news."
