She is a member of the Armed Forces Parliamentary Scheme in order to learn more about the challenges faced by the men and women who serve, and their families.She is keen to work to improve access to mental health services for veterans in Northumberland. Anne-Marie Trevelyan, MP for Berwick-upon-Tweed, has welcomed the new Armed Forces Covenant Duty, which came into effect today. It means a new legal obligation for public bodies in healthcare, education, and housing services to pay due regard to the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant.
