Over 32 million people have now received their first dose of a covid-19 vaccine and the vaccination programme has now moved into phase two. That means that everyone in priority groups 1-9 have been offered their first dose of the vaccine, and appointments can be offered to those in their late 40s. I know many local 40 somethings are getting booked in already, which is fantastic news, and the rest of the efforts are focused on delivering second doses to those in the more vulnerable groups.
