Anne-Marie Trevelyan, MP for Berwick-upon- Tweed, recently visited GV Engineering Ltd of Amble in her constituency where she was met by Allan Richardson and his father and introduced to the staff. Allan and his father gave Anne-Marie a tour of the company and explained to her their plans to expand and take on more full time staff and apprentices.
GV Engineering Ltd is a well established company based in Amble providing engineering services to a wide spectrum of heavy industries for over twenty years.
Anne-Marie said ‘I was very pleased to be able to visit GV Engineering and meet Allan and his father and their amazing staff. It is reassuring visiting companies like GV Engineering who are planning their future as they see an expanding economy and want to be a part of that. I wish them every success with their plans and look forward to hearing about their progress’.
