Anne-Marie Trevelyan MP was successful in securing a debate in Parliament about safety at HMP Northumberland, after concerns had been raised with her by prison staff and volunteers.
The Minister, Andrew Selous MP, praised the improvements in safety at the prison, and the new body-cams being worn by officers to prevent trouble. He also pledged to visit the prison with Mrs Trevelyan in the new year.
