Anne-Marie Trevelyan, MP for Berwick-upon-Tweed, visited Tweedmouth Cemetery to hear from local residents affected by the deeply distressing damage caused by badgers.
The MP is seeking an update on the legal and logistic side of things from the Council, but in the meantime wanted to go along to see the damage and talk to loved ones about how the situation has affected them.
Ms Trevelyan heard from local resident Alana Brown, who has several relatives buried at the cemetery who described to me how distressing this whole situation has been.
Anne-Marie said: "I was invited to come and visit the cemetery by local residents, and was able to hear from them first-hand how upsetting this whole experience has been and understandably so. I will continue to support them in this matter as a resolution is sought that ends this distress."
