Anne-Marie Trevelyan, MP for Berwick-upon-Tweed, visited Barclays Bank on Hidehill.
She was met by Carol Cronin, Barclays Market Manager and other members of staff who were able to inform Anne-Marie about the extensive community engagement that the bank has across the constituency particularly in the areas of IT, helping the community to use the different banks apps that are available and the work they do with veterans.
Anne-Marie said "I was delighted to be invited by Barclays to see what they do out with their core business of banking. It was so enlightening to hear from the staff what diverse support the bank gives to its customers and the wider community. The way we do banking is changing all the time and I am pleased that Barclays have the vision to understand that they need to take the community with them as these changes are introduced".
