Anne-Marie had the privilege of meeting with students from Ellington Primary School down in Parliament this week. As part of the Parliamentary Education Centre, the children received an insightful tour and attended a Q&A session with me, where they asked brilliant questions on a number of topics and issues, ranging from climate change to what it's like being an MP.
Anne-Marie said:
"I love when local pupils are able to visit Parliament and take advantage of the new education facilities here. It's always a pleasure to meet with them and talk about my role as a representative in Parliament. Clearing my diary to meet with them is always a priority."
If your school is interested in visiting Parliament, there is financial support available for travel costs. Any interested schools can contact the office for guidance and arrangements. The Parliamentary Education Centre offers a range of tours and workshops that provide an immersive and interactive learning experience, giving students a unique insight into the workings of Parliament.
