The politics class at DCHS always impress with their insightful questions, and it was lovely to be able to answer them on my recent visit. Having studied different political factions as part of their course, it was my privilege to be able to help by discussing with them how this works in practice. There was also time for a catch up chat with one of the Heads on other important educational issues facing them too.

I committed to modern new schools for our communities. Alnwick’s Duchess High was first in 2016, there are more places at Morpeth’s KEVI, and I will campaign for the new school buildings needed for Berwick, while pushing for the delivery of the new school in Amble.
