Anne-Marie Trevelyan, MP for Berwick-upon-Tweed, was delighted to be able to visit Amble First School on Friday. She was met by Headteacher Helen Bruce and enjoyed a tour of the school. Anne-Marie visited every class to present ‘School Council’ badges to the two pupils from each class who had been elected to serve on the School Council, and to answer the pupils’ questions.
Anne-Marie said “I have thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Amble First School, the children were really excited to see who had been elected to be on the School Council and to ask me lots of challenging questions. This is a really happy school and it was a pleasure to meet the Headteacher Helen Bruce and say hello to many of her wonderful staff.”
