The A1 dualling scheme is currently with the Planning Inspectorate, part of the final legal process these large infrastructure scheme undergo.
All the consultation documents related to the scheme, including live consultation documents relating to the statutory consultation on amendments to the Development Consent Order application – 22 April 2021 to 20 May 2021 are available on the scheme website HERE.
From 26th April the A1 between West Thirston and Felton will be closed from 8pm to 6am for four nights to enable surveys to be carried out as part of the dualling scheme.
